Terms

  1. All submissions and entries are accepted at the sole discretion of IndiaSocial.in
  2. IndiaSocial CaseChallenge 2 (CaseChallenge) is open for participation between 30 May 2011 to 21 June midnight IST (India Standard Time).
  3. CaseChallenge dates are subject to change.
  4. The CaseChallenge is open for participation to any brand, organisation, not-for-profit, government body, consultant or agency registered in India, for their social media work undertaken (or continued) in India between 1 May 2010 and 30 May 2011.
  5. Please ensure that all information in the official entry submitted by you (Participant) is authentic and accurate and is derived from a real social media initiative.
  6. Participants may submit more than one official entry, and in multiple categories.
  7. Upon submission to the CaseChallenge, your official entry becomes the property of IndiaSocial.in
  8. Incomplete entries, or entries submitted after official date of submission will be rejected automatically.
  9. IndiaSocial.in reserves the right to reject any entry on the basis of its not meeting participation criteria for the CaseChallenge, as decided by a majority Jury members.
  10. IndiaSocial.in would be free to publish/ use/ edit the information submitted in the entry in any form or format, and at any time, without any royalty or other payments to the Participant, including the organisation/ brand or client whose work has been submitted as the official entry.
  11. Jury Members and Process for selecting winners
    1. Winners will be selected by the Jury Members consisting eminent personalities from the fraternity, identified basis their expertise and knowledge.
    2. Jury members will evaluate all valid entries in 3 respective categories to select winners for 1st position and the 1st and 2nd runner-up positions.
    3. Each Jury members will evaluate entries on a total score 10 (per Jury Member) of on the basis of:
      1. Objective and goal setting – 1 (max score)
      2. Strategy – 3 (max score)
      3. Implementation – 3 (max score)
      4. Results and Measurement – 3 (max score)
    4. The average score derived from evaluation of all valid Jury scores will be used to calculate winning scores
    5. In case of any clash of interest with any individual Jury Members (entry from a group company or brand represented by self; or a family member being involved in a submitted entry) the said Jury members score will not be taken into account for the winning score
    6. Jury members and IndiaSocial.in reserve the right not to give an award for a category, if the submissions does not meet the highest standard of professional excellence
    7. The decision of the Jury Members regarding winners will be final and binding
    8. Final, average scores, arrived at after pooling all valid Jury scores will be shared on IndiaSocial.in website along with results
  12. All materials received as entries for CaseChallenge will remain confidential for the duration CaseChallenge is open for entries
  13. Winners of the CaseChallenge will be announced on the IndiaSocial.in website.
  14. Winners of the 1st position and 1st runner-up will be awarded cash prizes.
  15. In case of ‘tie’ (same scores) for 1st position and 1st runners-up position, the cash awards will be shared amongst the winners.
  16. Cash prizes paid to winners will be subject to applicable tax deductions at source as provisioned by Government of India.
  17. All appropriate taxes, duties, levies or similar regulatory payments as applicable and arising out of or in connection with the cash prizes for the winners of the CaseChallenge shall be paid by the winners themselves.
  18. Prize money would be issued to winners within 8 weeks of result announcement.
  19. Prize money would only be transferred to India bank accounts of winning companies business/ current accounts.
  20. IndiaSocial.in retains the right to withdraw the CaseChallenge at any time, without offering any explanations.
  21. IndiaSocial.in retains the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time, without any prior warning or notice.
  22. These Terms and Conditions for the CaseChallenge shall be construed in, interpreted, applied and governed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.
  23. By taking part in the CaseChallenge you undertake that all information provided by you in the submitted case is correct. You also undertake that you are authorised to post this submission as an entry to the CaseChallenge on behalf of your organisation/ client and  have the necessary permissions from your organistion and/ or client to do so on the applicable Terms & Conditions
  24. By participating in the CaseChallenge you accept the applicable Terms and Conditions.
